Honors

Students can earn an Honors degree by completing a group of courses of 20 credits. This includes a Dissertation and Managerial Effectiveness Workshop.

The industry integration of the Bennett BBA program allows every student to do a corporate internship of two months between the 2nd and 3rd year. BA Journalism & Mass Communication (English)

With a constant exposure to top media professionals in the industry, BAJMC program at Bennett University is a 3-year program spread across six semesters. With the focal language of teaching and communication being English, the program covers fields of Print Journalism, Web Journalism, Radio, TV, Advertising, and Public Relations. To help students gain industry exposure, The Times School of Media organises a six-to-eight-week internship, with top media firms in the country.

BA Journalism & Mass Communication (Hindi)

To bring in ease of learning and diversification, the BAJMC program in Times School of Media is also offered in Hindi. The Times Group plays a key role in designing the course curriculum. Master Classes from media experts is a regular feature of the program. Students are trained to work on industry-led softwares for print, radio, TV, and website content production.

Specialisations:

The Specialisation Courses form the cusp or pinnacle of the Honours Programme. They give the students an opportunity to specialise in a media of their choice under the guidance of Faculty mentors. Each Specialisation course has two components: a Specialisation Project that has to be done individually or as a Group; and lab and outdoor assignments that all students are required to do.

Print Journalism

The students are required to produce a news feature of 3,000 words that is of publishable quality. Besides this, the news writing / editing / page making skills of the students are honed through a series of classroom / lab / outdoor assignments during this period.
Television Journalism

Students who opt for Specialisation in Television are required to produce a 15-minute TV bulletin every week. The bulletin includes live news reports / talk shows / interviews / social media-based stories etc. The Project is done as group work with students working as cameramen, editors, anchors, graphics producers etc by rotation. The goal is to make them fully ready to work in a news channel.
Web & Mobile Journalism

The students are required to create a multimedia project on any topical issue using text, audio and video files. The students are also required to do weekly lab and outdoor assignments to create web reports, podcasts, and mobile video stories. The goal is to make them web and mobile ready.
Advertising (Digital Marketing & Social Media Marketing)

The students are required to do a live specialisation project where they conduct field and web-based research and generate industry-standard project reports. They are also given lab / outdoor B2C and B2B assignments.
Public Relations (PR)

The students prepare case studies as part of their Specialisation Project. Besides this, they are given weekly assignments on writing press releases, reviewing crisis management and CSR policies of companies etc.
Films

The Specialization Project comprises of producing a 15-minute documentary on a topical issue. Besides this, lab classes are held to help students improve their script writing skills, video editing abilities, film making techniques etc.
